RED ALERT! Puppies thrown from car on highway!

URGENT! On January 31st, approximately six puppies were allegedly tossed from a vehicle. This happened in Augusta, GA near Gordon Highway and i20.
Several good samaritans stopped and started trying to gather up the puppies. Two puppies arrived at our office but unfortunately one did not survive the drive here. The remaining puppy (male, approx. 7 weeks old) is in critical condition. While nothing appears to be broken, he is unable to walk. He has severe lung contusions which is causing him to struggle to breathe. Unrelated to his injuries, he has a large chicken bone in his stomach. We're unsure if it will pass on it's own or if he will need foreign body surgery.
The next few days will be critical and we just want this little guy to have a real chance at life. We're calling him AC/DC because he was on the highway to hell and ironically the good samaritan who brought him in was wearing an AC/DC tee-shirt!
Also, at this time, we don't have the location or the condition of the other puppies. We THINK there are 4 more.
