Home struck twice by Fire

On Sept 15, Tara came home to find a fire had started within the basement of the home that her childrem had been raised in for the past 11 years. She Initially had thought that it was the wood stove and attempted to put out the fire herself, resulting in minor injuries. After several attempts to get the fire under control, Tara realized it was much bigger than 1st thought and called 911. The response time was amazing by the St. Paul fire department but unfortunately enough damage was done to the home leaving the home unlivable. For the past six weeks, Tara had been couch surfing while working and dedicating all spare time to the cleanup and salvage of The home and start the rebuild of her children's family home .
Due to many circumstances such as separation, court appearances, and health issues there was NO home insurance on the home at that time which leaves Tara responsible for the repairs. With the help of great friends the cleanup & rebuild has been started but due to lack of financial support to purchase building supplies we have done to a standstill & reaching out the communities near & far. Prior to the fire, the past two years Tara had rebuilt the basement into a two bedroom rental suite by herself after the separation so she was able to keep the children's home where they grew up and have the rental income support the cost of the mortgage. It had finally been completed and 1 renter had moved In giving her that needed financial relieve. . Since then she had been struggling with the financials needed for the home but had been able to maintain the mortgage. She had been forced to move back into move the home with no electricity and using firewood donated to keep her warm and from any further damage such as freezing pipes to occur. Tara has been a contributing member of this community for many years and has assisted so many with their needs and concerns that we are praying that the community will help her but contributing to these needs during this trouble time in her life. We are praying that she will succeed in this rebuilt and be able to enjoy some time with in the family home with her children over the Christmas holiday.
