The Veg has been displaced by the recent tragic shooting at Power Ultra Lounge. We are looking for a new location so we can continue to serve great food to the community!
How we'll use your donations:
All money raised will be used to secure a new location, pay any necessary deposits and replace lost equipment/inventory.
Background:
The Veg is Little Rock's premier vegan resturant. It was opened in 2013 and found its first home in the Rivermarket Pavilion. A desire for more space lead The Veg's owner Shiem Swift to leave the Rivermarket in search for a brick and mortar location.
In May 2017 Swift entered a sub-leasing agreement and moved The Veg into the downstairs resturant portion of 220 West 6th Street, LR. Things were going well and The Veg was settling into its new home. Unexpectedly, a violent incident occured in the adjoining business and caused the building to be shut down. The Veg is now on the move again and need of a place to provide its customers and community with a family friendly place filled with great food.
