Rebuilding Sheyenne Greenhouse

On the morning of January 14th 2019, my parents Lee and Judy Schobinger experienced a devastating loss due to an electrical fire at their business Sheyenne Greenhouse in Sheldon, ND. The main hub of their operation unfortunately has suffered too much damage and must be demolished and rebuilt. Insurance is only able to pay a smaller portion than what they thought. Thankfully, it wasn't as bad as it could have been, but without that building our season cannot begin. I have taken it upon myself to try to seek help for my parents to continue with their dream of keeping this beautiful business in operation. In order to proceed with a season this year, a shell of a building to start seeding and transplanting is a must and many supplies are also needed to get the plants going. I am asking for and on behalf of my parents for the community's assistance.         My mother, Judy, is an incredible woman who has put her blood, sweat and tears into expanding her passion for horticulture into an operation which supplies not only our local community, but also supplies other smaller greenhouses in the area, helps with fundraising opportunities for churches and schools and does plant donations to local organizations. Her attention to detail and love for what she does shines through in the quality and variety of common and unusual plants she makes available.         My father, Lee, has been the muscle behind all the soil mixing, flat filling and handyman work that goes into the greenhouse. As a team, they have run this place together for almost 16 years and have no intention of letting it just go up in smoke and leaving it at that. It is too important to our family's livelihood to give up on this place. If anyone is able to help, please do so. We appreciate anything. ANYTHING will help. If you can donate time, services or funds, our family will be forever grateful. I know how much my parents love the community in which they live. Please help us to continue to beautify our area through my mothers amazing green thumb! We want to continue to be a staple to the FM area as well through our Fargo location. We can't help but think of our customer base at a time like this. We appreciate all of you and hope you will grant us your patience while we try to get things up and running again.       For this to all work, we need a building up by March 1st. If anyone would like to contact me directly, my name is Amy Schobinger and I would be happy to speak with anyone regarding this matter. I am attempting to get some type of benefit going and a better way to fundraise going, but for now please utilize this GoFundMe page until further notice. I know we can come together and make this happen! Thank you all for taking the time to read this, even if you can't help financially, your support means the world. Thank you again and we definitely hope to see all of our customers in the spring! Fingers crossed!! We really want to thank the Enderlin Fire Department also for coming out and stopping this fire from completely overtaking the greenhouse. Without their quick thinking and volunteer work, things would have been so much worse. Thank you sincerely for you time and efforts yesterday. Our family is so thankful!
