Ramsgrange Community School has many bright, hardworking students who take pride in their education.
After years of cut backs, we as a staff have come together to raise money to update our suite of computers. We hope that this will allow us to replace the current computers that we have (12+ years old)
As the Design and Communication Graphics teacher, part of my work is to teach students how to use Solidworks (a Computer Aided Design programme). Students develop their skills in CAD and presentation techniques which will eventually aid them in producing a Portfolio of work in 6th year (40% of Leaving Cert).
I hope to raise enough money to cover the cost of one of these laptops (€1351.77, Cost set by the approved supplier for laptops and Dept of Ed.)
I would like to thank you for any and every donation, on behalf of the hundreds of children from our community, whose education will benefit for years to come because of your generosity .
