Newer update from Elizabeth!!

I want to thank all of you again, family, friends, friends of friends and even strangers. You have all done an amazing job with helping us out. Thank you.

Every donation, no matter how small you think it is, is really huge to us. We appreciate everything that you are doing for our family.

Without you, I'm sure this would have been a very difficult time but the way you have all lifted our spirits and showered us with love, is making it so much easier for us. We will be forever grateful of your generosity!

Much love and muchos besos, The Eliza-Bolduc Family

For those not on Facebook here is a note from Elizabeth!

Life is all about learning. We all learn in different ways. Since becoming a mom, my goal has been to always give my kids nothing but the best. Not material things, but the best of things in life. I've worked hard to teach them to be caring, loving, understanding, giving, inspiring, friendly, take no crap from anyone and stand for yourself kind of people. I've seen those things in them throughout the years but I'll be honest, I teach my kids that but at times it's been hard for me. See, growing up I was never confident in my ways. I've mostly struggled with seeing good in people, although I preach it to my kids all the time.

I've never experienced anything like what my family is going through now. We have lost everything that we have worked so hard to have. That is a feeling I wish none of you ever have to endure. But through all of this that is happening, I have seen all those things that we value in our family in other people. I've seen a community come together to help a family in need. My family. The Eliza-Bolduc Family. I am so proud to have you all in our lives. Maybe I was too busy, or didn't feel confident enough to flourish friendships before, but that will never be the case again.

You have all taken the time to help my family by setting up a donation fund, donating to that fund, donating clothing items, household items, sitting outside for hours collecting money at the dump, running around taking things to storage, calling to set up the storage unit, sending messages of love, calling me to check in, making hotel reservations, helping with finding a temporary home, offering your spare bedrooms and empty homes, taking the kids out, taking the kids shopping, ordering new wrestling shoes, picking up items from your friends to give to us, sharing our story with your friends so they could help us, contacting the paper to get our story out and a few even trying to get Ellen Degeneres (lol) to notice us and our amazing circle.

We just reached a level on the fundraising page that is beyond what I ever thought possible. All thanks to you. Thank you. Thank you so very much familia and I send you all muchos besos!

Hollis Family Christmas Fire Update. Hello to the Hollis Brookline Community. Here is a Copy and Paste from Elizabeth Eliza's home page: Elizabeth Eliza Feliz Christmas to all! It's been very tough for all of us to deal with this so far but you are all amazing!!!!! Your love, your support, your words, your calls, your messages, your offers, your everything, has really made a difference in our lives. And the donations that are pouring in... THANK YOU! Thank you to Alison, for starting it. Can you guys believe I've only met this lady once?! These are the type of people that I am surrounded with. Amazing friends, new and old. This is what matters right now and I'll never forget. Watching the news clip was the hardest for me thus far. I saw it happening, but after having dry eyes to look with, it's devastating. Doesn't look like the little colorful fun loving home we have worked so hard to create. It will come back and it will have so much more meaning, not just to us but to everyone. Last night I declared that we will have a real fiesta when we are back. You will all be invited and you all better show up! Here are sizes for us: Novah is 7 and in 2nd grade. He is an amazing builder and loves Legos. Adjustable waist size 8 jeans or athletic clothing is his favorite. Med shirts. Size 1 shoes. Novah loves running and riding his bike. Viannca is our girly girl. She is 10 and in 4th grade. She spends all her free time pretending to be a doctor, doing her makeup and nails. She wants gymnastics lessons this year. V wears size 12-14 or small juniors. She doesn't like jeans. Size 5 women's shoes. Savvy is 15 and in 10th grade. She loves everything! When she is not on the wrestling mats, she is sweating at Bikram yoga or having sleepovers with her friends. Shoe size 9-9 1/2. Wears a size small/medium in tops and size 3 jeans. If you have any credits you can share for M&C, that is one of her favorite places. She needs athletic gear. Nike Pro sports padded bras are her favorite to wear under wrestling singlet. Short compression shorts, sweatshirts, sweatpants and t-shirts are needed for her training. Mom (me) I mostly live in medium tank tops and size 6 jeans with a cardigan thrown over with a necklace, if I'm feeling fancy. Shoe size is 9. Dad (Wayne) is the hardest working man I've ever met in my life. He works in commercial construction. Wears size large tops, size 33x34 pants and size 10.5 shoes. For today, donations can be left inside the orange bug. I'll talk with friends so we can find a better place and I'll update. Thank you all! *This post and information can be shared.
