Claudia and Will's Trip to Tanzania

£2,522 of £4,000 goal

Raised by 14 people in 47 months

Will is a 21 year old male living in Cornwall. Claudia is a 19 year old female living on the island of Guernsey. We met at a Christian festival called Soul Survivor based in Somerset over a year ago and have become the best of friends since. Will is gifted in music and can play guitar, ukulele, piano, drums and percussion. Claudia is gifted in childrens work and drama staring in many local productions from well known musicals such as West Side Story and Footloose to plays such as Our Country's Good and even divised A level drama pieces.

For the last 3 years Claudia has felt called to go to Africa and serve and Will has wanted to go back to Tanzania since his two week trip in 2008. So this year we have decided to go together to a village in Tanzania called Kilimatinde.

We are going for 6 months from the 1st of December 2015 - 25th of May 2016. Over there we are looking at teaching in the school and hoping to lead Sunday school sessions. High chance we'll do a bit of preaching too, Will is looking to do more musical based activities with the community there with the hope of starting a band. Claudia is looking to do more teaching and drama based activities and is hoping to start a drama club of some form or even direct a play with the children there. We will also help out with any community work that is avalible such as building projects and even willing to help with general house work any one may need - all voluntary.
