Ray Taliaferro has been missing in Paducah, Kentucky since November 10, 2018. The Taliaferro family needs help to secure legal and investigative services in search of his whereabouts.
Ray Taliaferro was a California Bay Area radio talk show pioneer. He was the first African American talk show host on a major market radio station in the country.

Mr. Taliaferro was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, black turtleneck, black pants.
Circumstances behind his disappearance: Ray was last seen talking with the manager at the Mellow Mushroom Pizza restaurant in Paducah. He may be experiencing disorientation and signs of dementia.

The Taliaferro family is confident that he is alive and we're doing everything we can to broaden the search to bring him home. We appreciate everyone's prayers for his safe return. Any funds donated will go to the effort of locating Ray and bringing him home safely.
It is with great sadness that the Taliaferro family has to announce the passing of Ray Taliaferro. His body was found in Paducah, Kentucky in a wooded area approximately a mile from where he was last seen. The family appreciates the support and help we received in our search for Ray. This is a devastating ending to our search for him over these past weeks. The family is in the process of working with the police to learn the matters surrounding his death. At this time, we are processing this turn of events and ask for privacy as we work through our loss.

Thanks to the donations we've had so far, we've been able to send Ray's son, Raphael Taliaferro, Jr., out to Kentucky to meet with the Sheriff and other law enforcement personnel in order to get a first-hand account of their efforts in locating Ray. We will continue to keep donors advised of our efforts. We greatly appreciate the support.
