Randy Gordon Liver Transplant

Randy is pictured above with his donor and cousin, Tiffany. He was diagnosed with primary sclerosing cholangitis about 8 years ago and was told he needed a living liver donor in order to survive. Almost 5,000 patients receive liver transplants every year but 1,700 patients die while waiting. We are so thankful Tiffany has been found to be a good match to give the right lobe of her liver to save Randy's life.

There are many costs related to this life-saving transplant that are not covered by insurance. Randy's family are traveling back and forth from Modesto to San Francisco for tests, the surgery, and follow-up visit. Tiffany is flying back and forth from her home in Oregon. There are many hotel stays and food expenses.
