Ramona Wind Ensemble NYC Tour 2019

The Ramona High School Wind Ensemble has received an invitation to perform at the World Projects "Sounds of Spring" Festival in New York City in March of 2019.  We are hoping to send our wind ensemble comprised of 63 of our Students to attend this amazing tour featuring a performance on stage at the World Renown Carnegie Hall.  

Our students will have the opportunity to visit many New York staples such as Times Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Broadway, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island & 9/11 Memorial.   A trip like this is designed to break down classroom walls, and enrich the lives of our students as never before.  

This event is an honor and financially a stretch on all our students and families but well worth the efforts for this opportunity.  We must pay for airfare, hotel, and entrance fees.  Our fees are due January 15, 2019.  We have no budget for an event like this, so we are looking for community support to help make this opportunity come to life for our students.  

Eighty percent of the student population at Ramona High School qualifies for the free/reduced lunch program.  We have never let finances hold us back from achieving our goals, and our students and families work hard to reach our dreams.
