Dear Friends & Family:
With Amy and Mark's permission, I have started this fundraiser with two purposes in mind. The first being rather obvious, to help cover any and all financial needs the family may have during this time of medical crisis. The second is an emotional need that many of you share with me - just trying to find an immediate way to reach out and show them love, encouragement and support.
Matt suffered a stroke on the morning of Sunday, October 21st. He was immediately transported by a critical care team from UVM Medical Center to Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Surgery was performed to help regain blood flow to his brain. As of 6:30am, this Monday morning, Matt is still unable to use his right side. He remains primarily under sedation with the aid of a ventilator. He will undergo an MRI this morning in hopes to gain further information on his continued critical situation.
Matt is a champion. He is strong, brave, and of remarkable character. Please help show the Yandows the support you are currently feeling in your hearts.
