Raising Surgery Funds

This is my husband KC Davis. He has a heart condition called AFIB. Most people can live with this condition and keep it managed with medications.  This is not the case for my husband. The medications are not managing his condition and the side effects are very damaging. His Doctor has said that he is too young to be having such a severe condition. They want to do a treatment called an Ablation. According to the Doctor, the AFIB is not life-threatening, however, a blood clot, stroke, or heart attack that develops due to the AFIB could be. My husband's heartbeat when it goes into AFIB ranges anywhere from 95 bpm up to 300 bpm. The higher the heart rate gets, the more tired his heart gets and the more the likelihood increases that he could have a clot, stroke, or heart attack. The Doctor says the Ablation is also necessary because my husband is only 45 years old and that if the medications aren't working now, as he gets older he will be less and less likely to have medications that can manage the condition.

Our insurance is not covering the procedure and we have to pay out of pocket to have it done. We can't afford to pay for the procedure. My husband can't work because of his condition. He is very stressed and battling depression over the whole ordeal. We are hopeful that we can raise the money through this medium.
