Raising money for a loving Father

Hi everyone, my name is Maria I’m here to share the story of Rene. Unfortunately, five months ago Rene was deprived of his freedom here within the United States while he fled from the chaos of Nicaragua in search of better opportunities for his family. He came to the United States with the sole purpose, of providing a better life for this 4-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son. Unfortunately, that dream was cut short by the immigration system of the United States.

Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of meeting Rene for the first time. The second I spoke to him it was evident that he was a delightful, humble, and gentle human being. His words about his family and his love for God show his true loving character. The tears that rolled down his face speaking about his passion for providing a better life for his children goes to show that his intentions in this country are pure. As a United States citizen, the qualities I see in Rene reflect the ideal citizen, one who I would want to share this country with. Rene is the epitome of a hardworking man who only wants to do what is best for his children.

Rene has recently accomplished the extremely difficult task of winning a bond, which means that he has an opportunity to be released from immigration detention to continue to fight his asylum case as a free man. However, the bond set by the immigration judge is too much for Rene to pay alone: $10,000.

With your help, we would be able to raise money to pay his $10,000 bond plus his plane ticket to the Northern part of the United States where he would reside with his United States Citizen sponsor. I hope you find it in your heart to help a man who is just trying to protect and aid his beautiful children.
