DSA Rust Belt Conference
Comprised of over 30 DSA chapters representing nine different states, the Rust Belt Caucus of the Democratic Socialists of America seeks to build power through collaborative projects that will have direct impact throughout the region.
To jump start this work, we are organizing the first DSA Rust Belt Conference to bring members together for two days of intensive information and resource sharing, from communicating the wide variety of issues core to each Rust Belt chapters' work to strategy sessions on how this work can be tied together to address struggles in the most unified, powerful ways.
This is an ambitious undertaking. In addition to two days' worth of learning and organizing opportunities, the RBC Conference organizers want to minimize financial barriers for prospective attendees by providing meals and housing throughout the conference.
Even with careful management, venue rental fees plus food, housing and other miscellaneous costs are mounting. While registration fees may help offset some of the costs, we need YOUR HELP to make the first ever Rust Belt Conference accessible to all.
A donation of $10 will help feed a conference attendee through the weekend. $20 will help secure housing for an out-of-town attendee. $50 guarantees an hour of use for our conference venue.
Every contribution will help us achieve this and other important projects in order to build a better Rust Belt and a better world for all.
