Raheem Rice was a vibrant, kind and loving 23 year old young man that dedicated his life to helping others. A senior at UNLV majoring in Kinesiology so he could help ease the pain of others. In a shocking and senseless random act Heemie (as his friends and loved ones called him) was shot through the heart in a drive by shooting. Raheem was murdered and his only crime was talking with friends on the way to a party. As Raheem's family grieves they are trying to deal with the overwhelming grief and financial stress that a parent never imagines they will ever experience, The idea that their child would be murdered so young never crossed their minds. We are asking for help to ease the financial suffering of the family while they are experiencing the crushing pain of losing Raheem....
