Early Saturday morning our van and all of the gear inside of it were stolen while we slept at a hotel in St Louis MO.
That van (Van diesel) is our home away from home. The gear inside is our business and how we make our living.
We spent years building up the funds to purchase the right gear and the right van. Years of effort and work have essentially been taken from us in a single night and put a hold on our entire business and our lives.
The gear stolen from us was not just equipment; it was our whole lives. We lived in that van every week. Someone didn't steal our van, they stole our home.
Not including the van, over $20,000 worth of equipment was stolen. Even if the van is recovered, the police told us to consider everything inside it gone.
We're flying back to Atlanta thanks to a generous friend's buddy passes, but we need to be back on the road Tuesday to Charlotte and we don't want to stop.
We won't let the bad things in the world and a few awful people destroy our dreams, and we are getting back to work today.
