WHO ARE WE
We, the Racing Roosters, Steven van Kimmenade and Mark Petit, are entering the European 5000. This is a touring rally that crosses a part of Europe, from Munich to Amsterdam with some stops along the way such as the beautiful Cote d’Azure, along side the city of Barcelona, the splashing Atlantic coastline and many more.
One of the goals of this rally is to raise money for a good cause of our own choosing.
Thanks to Anouk Rossen and Marie Lube, friends of ours, we chose to support ‘Stichting Bogota Zonder Honger’ (Anouk) and ‘Aid to Burkina’ (Marie).
Stichting Bogota zonder honger:
The purpose of ‘Stichting Bogota zonder honger’ is to keep the home in colombia, in the future, so that the children have a full meal every day and ensure that their free time is well filled. They do this through school skills training, sports and music.
‘Stichting Bogota zonder honger’ ensures that children from the streets in Bogotá can come in their kitchen for a meal. The largest costs of the kitchen are fully supported by the foundation.
Aid to Burkina:
Aid to Burkina helps resource transformation in Burkina Faso through projects focused on education and health. They aim to increase the quality of life and realize the hopes and dreams of communities living in this part of the World.
We hope that by this small introduction you will want to help out too.
