Autumn was diagnosed with Lupus in December 2013 at the age of 18. In August 2014, she developed Lupus Nephritis which is a chronic kidney disease which has resulted in kidney failure and 2 hospitalizations within a 5 month period.
As we all know, medical insurance just has not been enough to cover the necessary medical equipment, hospital stays, medications etc. She will continue to need medical care, as there is no cure for lupus but can be managed with medication.
Therefore, we are asking for your help in order for us to meet all of her medical needs.
