Help Indiana Smith Go to Israel!

I've been a schoolteacher and pastor for twenty-five years, and recently I've become a published author in the field of Christian fiction.  Now I've received a once-in-a-lifetime invitation to go on a ten-day archeological tour of the Holy Land.  It's a lifelong dream, but it is also pricy.  I have twin daughters in college and two car payments, and this is going to be a big expense.  I don't really like asking for money, but I can't afford this alone.   Help me fulfil this dream and see with my own eyes the places that I have read, written, and taught about for my entire adult life!  Thanks to all and God bless you for your support and friendship!

Well, guys, tomorrow is my 52nd birthday . . . or, as I prefer to think of it, the dyslexic version of my 25th birthday! (Yes, I'm still just as old, but it just sounds better that way.)
I have come a long way in paying for this dream trip to Israel. My passport is done, and I have about $2,000 of the 3,000 that I will have to pay the travel agent already in hand. Really, just $1000 dollars and I'll be there. I am scrimping and saving to pay for as much as I can myself, but if you'd like to pitch in a bit as a birthday gift, that would be awesome! And whether you can afford to help or not, I want to thank everyone for their support, their prayers, and their interest. This trip is going to be AMAZING! March 11, 2016 - Jerusalem, here I come!

I just want to take a moment to thank all those who have helped me reach towards this goal from the bottom of my heart - from Britain Chevrolet, for donating tickets to help pay for the trip, the GCS School board for their generous gift, and all my friends and family who have kicked in as well. Almost halfway there now!

I've made my first $500 down payment on the cost of the trip; next week I need to pay the fee to our trip sponsor and pay for my passport. Your continued support is a wonderful blessing; thanks to all who have contributed!

I love your books and in fact reading the redemption of Pontus Pilate this very minute. I want to go to the island of Capri . I have been to the Holy Land and it is amazing! I so want to go on a dig someday. Blessings to you- you will make it there financially sound and gave a wonderful time! You and Brad keep up your 'hunting!" Sandy
