Dabo's Pizzeria -Clemson Poll Party

A GoFundMe created by a fan, for the fans, to help support or beloved coach and Tigers.
The Clemson Tigers are 9-0 and ranked #1 in the College Football Playoff polls, but according to Coach Dabo Swinney the only polls that matter are on December 6th. That’s why he promised if the Clemson Tigers are still in the conversation for one of the four playoff spots that he would have the biggest poll party you’ve seen.
Coach Swinney said that they would open up Memorial Stadium and invite all the fans and serve pizza to everybody. Death Valley seats about 81,500 people, if everyone only gets one slice that would be about 10,188 pizzas! If the average pizza cost $13.99 that would put the price for all the pizza at about $152,000. So let’s help support this pizza party with our Clemson Tigers!
(If the Clemson Tigers are not undefeated come Dec. 6th or the poll party doesn’t happen, all funds will be donated to Clemson Athletics)
ESPN wrote an article about Coach Swinney’s promise. Here are a few of the fun facts:
- If you stacked all the pizza boxes they would reach a height of 1,380 feet. (400 feet taller than the Eiffel Tower)
- It would take 14.711lbs of dough, 7.668lbs of cheese and 2,504lbs of pepperoni to make all the pizzas
- To burn off all the calories consumed from everyone eating the pizza the Tiger would have to do 31 million push ups
- 637 Gatorade coolers of sauce would be needed to make the 10,188 pizzas
- If each pizza was cooked one at a time it would take 71 days to make them all
