There is no greater pain for a parent than to lose a child--at any age. Rick Collette has lost his beloved daughter, Katie, and that loss followed the loss of his wife not so long ago. This is almost more than anyone should be asked to bear, yet Rick must not only cope with this loss, but also the burden of burying his child. We want to take that worry off his shoulders by raising funds to help in the cost of burial. We also want to show Rick that he is loved by his community, that we care deeply for him and will stand with him in any way he needs, for as long as he needs us.
