A true little fighter

As most of you will all know last year a close friend of mine had her whole world turned upside down when her 4 year old little boy was diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia , this meant her having to give up work so that she could be by his  hospital bedside every day and every night. It was a truly difficult time for her and her family. For me there wasn't anything I wouldn't have done to be able to take their pain away. I would have traded places with that little boy in a heart beat. As this was someone truly close to my heart I wanted to do something to help, something that would make a difference therefore I organised a fundraiser in the form of a Family Fun Day to raise money to help make life that little bit easier and less of a struggle. Luckily I had such amazing support with this event it completely exceeded my expectations and we managed to raise just short of £2,000 pound. Towards the end of last year my friend found out that the chemotherapy had been a success and finally they were able to see that tiny bit of light at the end of what could only be described as a very dark tunnel. From then on all we could do is pray that it did not return. Unfortunately just a few months ago it came back, and now every day he is fighting for his life and what a true little fighter he is. He has just recently undergone a bone marrow transplant and we pray that this is a success and that he can finally return home to a happy life with his family. So now I would like to ask you from the bottom of my heart I am going to be taking part in a sponsored Tandem SkyDive on Saturday 3rd October (something that absolutely terrifies me) to again help raise money to make life that little bit easier whilst they are going through such a difficult time.  Also I know they have always dreamed of having a family trip to Disney Land Florida and I for one would love to make that dream come true . I would be grateful of any support you can give no matter how big or small every little counts.
