MMA Supports Keith Griffin, El Faro

Donation protected
Massachusetts Maritime Academy's Class of 2005 is reaching out to our shipmates to support the family of Keith Griffin.

Keith was First Engineer and one of 33 crew members of the El Faro, the container ship last seen near the Bahamas during Hurricane Joaquin.

We are deeply saddened with the news that the USCG has suspended the search for the crew of the El Faro. We remain commited to raising funds to support Keith's wife who is expecting the couple's twins early next year. The couple were set to learn the gender of their twins upon Keith's return from this hitch.

Keith was your ideal shipmate, he had the biggest heart, was always good for a laugh and would give you the shirt off his back.

Any donation is greatly appreciated to help support Keith's family.
