Dancing for a Cause

Donation protected
Hi! My name is Laurie Tyner and I am a kindergarten teacher and dance team coach at Central Heights Elementary School in Richmond, KS.

This year I have the privilege of having a little girl with Spina Bifida in my class. She is full of energy, light and overall love every single day. She is capable of anything (including reading on a second grade level). And, that is exactly why we as a dance team decided we wanted to include her in one of our dances.

With this said, the dance team also wanted to raise funds to help finance the building of a handicap accessible playground at Central Heights Elementary School. Being in a small community these types of amenities are hard to find.

At the basketball game that the dance was performed at, the Dazzlers raised $995.18! An astronomical amount that blew our goal out of the water. This is enough to purchase Ryleigh her own swing for the playground. But why stop there? Why not provide her with an ENTIRE playground to play with at her disposal? A playground where she can play next to her friends and be the light that she is.

So, we ask you to help us make this dream a reality for a very special angel that we have been privileged to know and care for.
Thank you so much!
