Bubba's Rescue Needs A New Shelter!

Bubba's Rescue is seeking funds to build a bigger shelter. There is a great need for our services in our area, yet we are only able to help a small portion of the needy dogs due to space limitations.
Bubba's Rescue is a local No Kill animal rescue and shelter located in Waldron, Arkansas. We currently operate out of 2 locations. The first is a rural outdoor kennel facility operated by our Founder and her family. The second is an indoor shelter facility located in the city of Waldron. We have the capacity for around 30 dogs at any given time.
There is a tremendous problem all across the South with an overpopulation of dogs and cats, due to the lack of spay and neuter regulations. The prevailing attitude is to ignore the problem. People around here don't think twice about dumping and abandoning animals. Most of these former pets are killed by wildlife, get hit by cars or starve to death.
Bubba's Rescue began several years ago as the dream of Spencer Westfall, a very special young man that has an extreme love of all animals. Our very first rescued dog was named Bubba. To this day, Spencer and Bubba are inseparable.
On January 1st, 2016 Bubba's Rescue was given control of the City of Waldrons Dog Pound. Due to lack of resources, the City was operating as a high kill pound. Dogs were euthanized simply to make room for more dogs that would meet the same fate. After hearing about Bubba's Rescue, they approached us to take over their facility. We now handle all animal intakes for the city and arrange for the transport and adoption of all the homeless fur babies.
Bubba's Rescue has transported over 300 dogs up North last year where there is a high demand for puppies and dogs due to strict spay/neuter laws. When they arrive at our sister rescue in Minnesota, they do not go into another shelter, they are placed with families in foster homes where they receive love and training to go into adoptive homes.
With a larger facility, we will have the opportunity to save 1000+ dogs per year. Please help us reach our goal so that we can make a bigger difference in our community and inn the lives of the animals we rescue.
