Thomas Wells Recovery

A week ago today, June 13th, Thomas was riding his motorcycle when a car pulled out in front of him and unfortunately Thomas was unable to stop. He has been at UofL hospital with a few skull fractures and an intracranial hematoma; resulting in cerebral spinal fluid leaking from his ear. Neurosurgery just placed a lumbar drain to help with the fluid, however it will be a few days before we know if it’s working, or if he’ll need brain surgery to repair it.  They have also found a blood clot in his femoral artery.
  
This fund is to help ease the stress of the financial burden that being in the hospital presents. Missed work, hospital bills, doctors’ bills, gas to/from as well as care for his 3 year old son, Grayson, in the interim of him being admitted and his recovery - all while being in the midst of closing on his new house and moving.
