Quanisha's Medical Fund

Quanisha Brooks is a 18 year old college student and a Miami FL. native, a recent graduate of South Dade High School. Where she was an bright A1A student. Quanisha is a excelling college student. Who loves spending time with her family. Recently Quanisha fell ill with chest pains, followed with an horrible cough. Seeking help her mom took her to several doctors who treated her for a comon cold. Quanisha and her mom both felt what she had was more than just a common cold. After visiting Jackson South Hospital. Doctors had initially thought it was a common cold, but after test was ordered, they realized it was not a common cold. After being transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital, Quanisha and her family were informed that she has Lung cancer. Quanisha will began chemo therapy right away, and will receive treatment Monday through Friday, for the next few months. The team of doctors at Jackson Memorial Hospital is still working to come up with the best plan of care to continue with after the few months of the Chemo treatment. The family is very hopeful for new clinical trials that should be available in the near future.

Quanisha is the toughest young woman we have all ever met, and is more than ready to fight this. Her strong and indomitable will has already proven to be more than enough to battle and beat the the stress of her dad being shot while she was in high school. This will be a battle but with so many people who know and love Quanish and her Family, they’ve got an army behind them. With that being said, there are so many people looking to help so we’ve started with this page in hopes of raising money for the family to offset any costs that they may face in this upcoming battle.

Quanisha, and her family, will continually need all of the positive thoughts, prayers, support throughout these next few months. With a large community who loves this family, they will undoubtedly have the endless support that they need throughout this whole process.
