With the recent violence in Nairobi, I was led to create this page. The Kean Family are Foursquare Missionaries serving in Nairobi, Kenya. And they need your help to come home for a much needed break.
The Jacaranda Community Academic Centers are comprised of three main academic centers in the towns of Kayole, Kibera and Marurui. Their mission is to meet spiritual and physical needs throughout the city of Nairobi. They do this by creating jobs for widows and single mothers through the trade of sewing and provide the care and protection for their children through education and health care. Surrounded by a stark environment of brick and heat, and the struggle to survive, the families in this community are trying hard to provide a solid education for their children to give them a chance in the growing city of Nairobi. The conditions are harsh, but these children have been rescued through the efforts of these dear missionaries for Christ. They work tirelessly. The reason for this page is to ask your help in providing the necessary funds for them to come home to the states as a family for a much deserved holiday. The cost of tickets is ranging from 2,000 to 2,500 each for the whole itinerary per person.
With there being five of them (Their oldest Kaitlyn is graduating from Azusa University in May) who need to get home, we dont think we will manage airline tickets for less than 10,000. Both Lillian and Caeli are coming up on their high school graduations and need to check out potential universities, and Lilian needs to get her learners permit. Also, Brayden is longing to see her friends back home and they all need to spend time with their grandparents. So you can see, this is a family who needs to come home for a long awaited visit. Will you help bring them home? You couldnt find a more worthy family to partner with. They are precious to so many.
