Charlestown Babe Ruth Softball

The Charlestown, NH Recreation Committee and the Charlestown Babe Ruth Softball League are proud to announce that our Girls Babe Ruth Softball team has made it to the World Series in Florida, July 26 – August 3, 2016.   This is a national event and a wonderful opportunity for our team.  We are so proud to be representing not only our towns and states, but New England in this national event. Our 16U team, comprised of girls from Charlestown, Walpole, Claremont, Alstead, Springfield, VT,  Proctorsville, VT, and Bellows Falls, VT, has been one of the top ranking teams in the New England region over the last few years and last weekend placed 2nd in the New Regional Tournament. 

As you might realize, there are many expenses involved in getting a team to the World Series, and we are looking to friends, families and businesses to help sponsor the team.  We were able to generate some revenue this past weekend at the Regional tournament that we hosted, and all our proceeds will be put towards transportation, housing and food for our team.  But we still do not have enough.  There is less than a week to raise the money we need to travel.  Any donation would be appreciated and is tax deductible.
