Help for Henry

$11,490 of $8,000 goal

Created May 26, 2019
On the 26th May Henry was abducted when a man stole his owners van and sped away on a high  speed chase through Fremantle.
The chase ended in Henry being stabbed twice in the chest.
Henry was rushed to Murdoch animal hospital where he is in a critical condition. Henry has lost a lot of blood and requires transfusions,
consistent pain relief and surgery.
This page is being set up for those who want to contribute to Saving Henry’s life.
We have been touched by the love of the local community and offers from people to help.

Good afternoon lovely people,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your kind and generous donations to support Henry’s vet care after his ordeal.
Henry is doing incredibly well after surgery and is back home lapping up all the love and attention from his many admirers. He is already whinging at Steve (dad) to take him to the park so he can play with his buddies.
This experience has been a rollercoaster ride to say the least, but through the ups and the downs the community support that Henry and our family have received has been immeasurable. This support has been such a blessing to us and we have witnessed firsthand the positive impact of this wonderful community.
Your generous donations have gone towards Henry’s emergency veterinary care over the last week and on-going treatment.
The remainder of the money from Henry’s Go Fund Me campaign will be donated to Murdoch Animal Hospital to be used for an advanced piece of equipment that monitors anaesthetised animals. The equipment is especially useful for animals who are in critical condition, are later in life or at greater risk of being compromised, and supports to safety manage risks during anaesthesia.
This machine will support many more animals for many many years to come.
Thank you again and much love to you all.
Love Henry and family.

UPDATE - Henry IS going in for surgery,
I made an error in my previous update that I am unable to change.
To confirm, Henry is going in to surgery today to operate on his stab wounds.
The cost of his vet bills have risen significantly,
Hence the reason for the increase in funds needed on his Go Fund Me.
Thank you and lots of love to you all
