FOR MORIAH

$18,158 of $142,000 goal

Raised by 222 people in 16 months
This 22 yr. old left college in her 3rd year. She has Pulmonary Fibrosis and needs double lung transplant.
The 1st mortgage foreclosed and is trying to sell the home she was born and raised in.
The child cannot be moved. It could mean her demise. The mortgage company has denied all offers.
Moriah and her family need time in the home of 23 years. Her mother was diagnosed with Multiple Scerlosis a year prior.
Moriah is now 80 pounds, confined to a wheelchair and on 24 hour oxygen which must be plugged directly into a wall outlet.
The home has been set up to accommodate all of her needs.
There is a new sale date in 2 months which we anticipate will be the urgent recovery time for Moriah from her double lung transplant.
The only way the Lender will stop is if they are paid in full.
Funds are also needed for her post-surgery medication which is substantial.
Please. This is urgent!!

Hi,

I just wanted to personally thank everyone for their continuous donations, Facebook shares, support, and prayers. In regards to keeping everyone updated on my journey I will be posting as often as I can to keep everyone in the loop regarding my health and the continuous battle I am going through in order to get a double lung transplant. I have started the process but still have extensive testing to go through before I am given an answer as to whether or not I will be listed. It has been an extremely hard few months as my health has had a rapid decline since October but with the help of my amazing mother, Robin, I have found the strength to keep pushing forward. All of your support and prayers for my mother and me are appreciated more than we could describe. The support from the entire community in an effort to help us keep our house has helped out my mom a lot and we have been able to have a few days of just hanging out with a little less worry which is all that I could have ever asked for so thank you all again.

I will try to post again soon. I am still waiting for my appointment schedule for testing at the transplant clinic, but before that happens I need to get over this fever I am now fighting. Thank you for keeping me in your prayers during this difficult time.

To all our supporters. I am Bonne Scheflin. I am the attorney representing Robin and Moriah Kohn. I would like to apologize for the lapse in response on my behalf. I have been in the process of transferring the administration of this campaign from myself to Moriah. Although she has been able to read all posts, she has not been unable to respond, personally, herself. She has been inspired and has found much comfort in reading your thoughts and prayers, and has been compelled to take over the administration of this campaign.
From today forward, Moriah will be making her
"OWN POSTS".

With this being said, I, Bonne Scheflin, will be withdrawing the generous funds that have been donated from the account and writing a check directly to Moriah and/or Robin Kohn.
In closing, it has been an honor to be a part of this campaign and to assist the family during this most difficult time.
I am in "Awe" as to the overwhelming love and support in all of your responses.

I would like to apologize to all our supporters regarding the previous update, as I, personally, misunderstood the status of Moriah's journey.

Yesterday, the family was at the University of Miami Transplant Center where the doctors verified that Moriah does "qualify" for the transplant. Moriah has NOT been placed on the transplant list as of yet, but the extremely tedious, emotional and physical process of medical records, consensus, documentation, lab work and medical procedures have been completed. She is finally in the evaluation stage to be actively placed on the transplant list.

Robin, Moriah and family stated to me that "no words can express the gratitude and comfort they feel from all of your prayers, thoughts, contributions and support during the most trying time of their lives".
Thank you so much and please continue to keep them in your hearts.

I would like to provide an update to all of the wonderful, caring souls that have donated or have sent prayers and kind words of support regarding Moriah's health.
After several months of evaluations, medical tests, providing documentation and records, the day has arrived where the family is at the Transplant Hospital and Moriah is being approved for the surgery and has been placed on the lung transplant list.
Please continue blessing the family with your prayers and thank you so very much for all your love and support.
