Hola!! somos Francis Guillen (25) y Shirleys Noriega (32), escaladoras Venezolanas, que actualmente y desde hace unos años residimos en Cataluña-España.

Practico Escalada desde los 5 años de edad, llevo 20 años en este Deporte, en el cual me inicio mi padre y entrenador Carlos A. Guillen. Desde los 14 años de edad formo parte de la Selección Nacional de Venezuela de Escalada ( He dejado en alto varias veces a VENEZUELA, escalando hasta lo mas alto en el pódium de Panamericanos).
Hace 4 años decidí emprender una aventura, la de ir a vivir a España con la finalidad de progresar y mejorar mi rendimiento como Deportista, y así ha sido, pero por causas ajenas no he podido participar en ninguna competencia internacional (Sin embargo he sido una competidora frecuente en el Circuito Español de Competencias de Escalada). Hasta el año pasado, donde finalmente tuve la oportunidad de representar a mi País Venezuela en el Campeonato del Mundo realizado en Innsbruck. Redescubriendo así nuevamente las ganas de volver al circuito de Competencias Internacionales representado y llevando bien el alto el nombre de Venezuela.

Comencé a escalar con 17 años y desde entonces no he parado …Competidora habitual del circuito nacional desde hace mas de 10 años, residente en Cataluña desde hace 11, equipadora de rocódromos y una amante del deporte.
Desde siempre mi sueño ha sido representar a mi país en las competiciones a nivel mundial, siempre he luchado por eso y entrenado constantemente, lamentablemente por temas de trabajo y tiempo nunca he podido dedicarme al 100% , pero este año he comenzado a tener un poco mas de tiempo libre y mas margen para dedicarme a un entrenamiento específico que me ayudara a conseguir mejores resultados esta temporada sin duda!!!
Me encantaría poder demostrarlo y poder vivir mi sueño de escalar con los mas grandes!!
Objetivos
Nuestro principal Objetivo es poder recaudar dicho dinero, necesario para poder participar en el circuito Internacional (eventos IFSC), representando a VENEZUELA, los cuales son eventos fundamentales durante el 2019 y 2020 , para así lograr obtener la posibilidad de participar en los Juegos Olímpicos de Tokio 2020.
Esto es un intento de que no desaparezca la escalada venezolana de las copas mundiales , hay muchos atletas fuera de Venezuela que están activos y quieren participar en los circuitos de competiciones de la IFSC.
Con los problemas que actualmente atraviesa Venezuela es complicado mantener una selección que pueda ser participe en todos los eventos , nosotras queremos intentarlo… ya que estamos aquí y eso facilitaría un poco las cosas a nivel de desplazamiento , todo esto representa un gasto de dinero con el que no contamos y que beneficiara a todos los atletas venezolanos pues la membrecía anual estará pagada, si logramos recaudar el objetivo que nos hemos planteado.

I've been Climbing since I was 5 years old. I've been in this sport for 20 years, in which my father and trainer Carlos A. Guillen introduced me to. At 14 years old, I was already part of the Venezuelan National Team (taking Venezuela to the top of the Climbing Pan-American podium several times).
Four years ago I decided to undertake an adventure. That was to come to live in Spain in order to progress and improve my performance as an athlete, and this has been the case, but for reasons beyond my control I have not been able to participate in any international competition. (However, I have been a frequent competitor in the Spanish Circuit of Climbing Competitions). Until last year when I finally had the opportunity to represent my country Venezuela in the World Championship held in Innsbruck. Rediscovering again the desire to get back to the circuit of International Competitions representing Venezuela.

I started climbing with 17 years old and since then I have not stopped... Regular competitor of the national circuit for more than 10 years, resident in Catalonia for 11 years, routersetter in climbing gyms and a sports lover.
Since always my dream has been to represent my country in competitions worldwide, I have always fought for that and trained constantly, unfortunately for work and time issues I have never been able to dedicate myself to 100%, but this year I have begun to have a little more free time and more room to dedicate myself to a specific training that will help me achieve better results this season without a doubt !!!
I would love to be able to prove it and be able to live my dream of climbing with the greatest!
Goals
Our main objective is to raise this money, necessary to participate in the International circuit (IFSC events), representing VENEZUELA, which are fundamental events during 2019 and 2020, in order to obtain the possibility of participating in the Olympic Games of Tokyo 2020.
This is an attempt not to disappear the Venezuelan climbers of the world cups, there are many athletes out there who are active and want to participate in the circuits of competitions of the IFSC. But, with the problems Venezuela is currently going through, it is difficult to maintain a selection that can participate in all events we want to try... because we are here, it would make things a little easier, at least in the sense of traveling. All this represents a money expenditure that we do not have, as well as a benefit to all Venezuelan athletes annual membership which will be paid if we manage to raise the goal we have set.
