CKNX’s Buzz Reynolds will move into the Truck to collect Food for local Food Banks
Forces are coming together to help collect food for the local food banks. Starting December 1st, 2015 Buzz Reynolds from CKNX AM920 will move into and live in an empty tractor trailer. He will broadcast his morning show from there until it’s full of nonperishable food items for 10 local food banks including the North Huron Community Food Share. The tractor trailer will be set up in in the parking lot of Dean’s Valu-Mart in Wingham, Ontario.
Last December, the North Huron Food Share provided food for 50 families in the first week of the month. Many of those helped were children, students and recent graduates in rural communities. They are one of the fastest growing user groups of local food banks.
Everyone and anyone can get involved; service clubs, schools, local businesses, larger corporations, sports teams and of course individuals. With the donations, there will be the opportunity to speak with Buzz on air and photo opportunities that will be shared across the CKNX website and social media.
The Buzz Reynolds morning show can be heard 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. weekdays on CKNX.. Buzz has won multiple awards for his decade long commitment to these causes. He will continue this tradition here in mid-western Ontario, bringing awareness to poverty and raise food for the Huron County Food Banks.
