Holiday Support for NJ Soldiers

Since 2014, the 250th BSB Association has planned and funded the annual 250th BSB Holiday Party (New Jersey Army National Guard). Prior to the creation of this Association, the annual holiday party was usually held in the armories where soldiers worked. Deciding that better could be done for the men and women that sacrifice so much, we decided to step in and every event has been successful ever since.

In 2017 (my favorite year to date), the 250th BSB Association was able to host the National Guard’s holiday party at the Waterside located in North Bergen, NJ. In addition, every dependent child of a soldier in attendance received a Amazon Kindle 8 as a holiday gift. Since this event took place, I have received inquiries from individuals wishing to donate to this event. This year, I decided to utilize Go Fund Me as a way for individuals to get involved if they choose to do so. 100% of all donations will be used in the following ways:

1. A venue for the event itself 

2. Gifts for every dependent child of a soldier in attendance

3. Anything left over will be reserved for the holiday party in 2019 or will be used for Family Day. Family Day is an event where soldiers are encouraged to bring their loved ones to a drill day. This day usually consists of a BBQ, and family oriented activities.
