Eddy & Jacob Medical Expenses

On January 27, 2016 in Deer Park, WA, emergency crews responded to an extrication car crash on Highway 395 and Crawford near Deer Park. Four people in the car were severely injured, including my 16 year old niece Natalie, 10 year old nephew Eddy and 6 year old Jacob. My two nephews were flown to Medstar to a local hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries.

Thankfully, Natalie was dismissed from the hospital with some bruises and a broken collar bone, and is in stable condition - the same day of the car crash. Nikita, the driver who drove Natalie, Eddy and Jacob is in stable condition and was dismissed from the hospitol as well. The driver of the truck, is also in stable condition as far as we know. Unfortunatly, Eddy and Jacob are in the worst condition. Both boys were in a coma straight after the crash.
Doctors have discovered that Eddy has a mild brain bump, broken pelvis, 6 broken ribs, raptured spleen and kidneys, and unfortunately has some internal bleeding. Jacob has a broken arm, broken leg, few other broken bones and has a serious head injury.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” Romans 15:13
Doctors are unaware of what the treatment will be like for the boys. We do know, it will be a very long process with physical therapy. At this point, no one knows how long the healing process will take and what to expect in detail. My sister and her husband, Peter and Tanya, have six children, three of them who have been traumatized in this awful car crash.
“In all things that I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” Acts 20:35
We would greatly appreciate if you would be able to help my sisters family financially. At this point, we are uncertain what Insurance will cover. All your financial support will go towards whatever insurance doesn't cover and towards home expenses (bills, food, etc). Peter will not be working full time for a unknown period of time at the moment. Eddy & Jacob need their parents love and comfort by their sides.
If you are unable to help financially, we ask that you may please keep Eddy and Jacob in your prayers, along with their family. We truly believe and know that our God hears prayers, and the power of prayer is incredible. Our God CAN do miracles!
