Hey! I'm Nicky, I'm 21 years old, a sophomore college student in the US and I live with my single mom and brother in Arkansas.
Back in 2017, I went back to college to complete my degree but unfortunately a bad mental health episode derailed my fall semester and I lost my financial aid, and without that my family cannot afford to pay off my college debt so I can return to school. My brother is also starting college in the fall, which will add to the financial burden.
On top of this a lot has gone wrong for my family this summer: I needed to have emergency major dental surgery, my family has had to find a new house to live in and my aunt took most of the stuff from our home so my mom needs to buy new furniture for our house. My family does not have much money and this has made the financial situation really bad.
Things have been very tense and stress-inducing because of all of the above and we would be so grateful for any help you could offer.
