Sam Kossack Memorial Scholarship

Dear friends, family, and the TJSL Community,

Words cannot describe the surreal tragic loss of our dear and good friend Sam Kossak. He had big plans and was the caliber of person that could make them come true.

I know his family friends and loved ones are all suffering a painful loss at this time and I give them my heartfelt condolences as I know they are grieving.

He had so many friends that are in shock and sadness. Our prayers are with you and your loved ones Sam.

Before law school Sam was a school teacher and loved giving back to the community.  He continued to give his time towards the TJSL's CLIMB program along with being an advocate and member of many other organizations at TJSL.  

Sam also was an academic and the model student excelling and getting the highest scores in nearly every course he took.  He participated in coveted externships from the corporate world at Qualcomm to the San Diego Public Defender's Office and many others in between.  He was absolutely destined to be a great attorney.

He once told me he didn't care about money and all he wanted to do was make a positive difference.  

Let's start a fund that would go towards a scholarship in Sam's name honoring his legacy and the good he believed in.
