Care Packages for the Homeless

Hey! It's the Hobbins Mob! We are having a Christmas Giving Party this year, to help our family and friends focus on giving to others during this holiday season.
At the party, we'll be putting together care packages for the homeless with handwarmers, chapstick, V-8, granola bars, hot chocolate mix and a $5 giftcard to McDonalds. This will not only be helping the homeless, but also help teach kids about charity and giving to others.
We are aiming to put together 50 packages. The $5 giftcards come to $250, while the remaining items come to around $130 or around $2.50 per package.
If we don't raise enough, we'll probably leave out the giftcards, but if we raise too much... we'll just make more! The packages will be distributed by friends and family as they come across people in need and will include a small note that says who assembled the package and who paid for it.
The Hobbins family is very thankful for all we have and would like to spread on that feeling of love and thankfulness to others. The more money we raise, the more packages we'll put together.
