Please Help save Mason.
Normally too proud to ask for help. I’m left with no other option. Our beautiful boy is ill and requires an operation to remove a massive lump on his neck. Mason is now no longer responding to treatment and the vet said yesterday we have no other option but to operate soon or face losing him.
As a disability pensioner I’ve been refused the loan amount required and having spent close to $3,000 in the past few months on Masons vet fees I’ve nothing of value left to sell.
Mason was given to my partner after he was involved in a massive car accident that almost took his life. Recovering from extensive face and head injuries and weeks in ICU he just about gave in to depression and almost lost hope. This then tiny bundle of joy got him up, and gave him a reason to not give up.
He’s truly one of the smartest dogs I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Not only will he play fetch till you can’t throw anymore but he can collected items you ask. Mason, where is the footy. Mason will bring you a football. Mason where is squeak, he will get you one of his much favoured squeak toys. Sticks, balls etc. he knows each item. His love is endless.
This massive sook isn’t just a dog. He is a much loved member of our family. He can’t be replaced. I only have a few days to come up with the funds needed to operate and I’m heartbroken with the thought of losing him or having to tell our kids we can’t fix him cause we don’t have enough money.
Already guilt ridden from burdening my family financially due to my own illness I’m swallowing my pride and asking please help.
