Justin Stout Leukemia Fund
Donation protected
Justin, age 13, was on Spring Break in March 3015 when he began to have nausea & vomiting. We went to a hospital in Orlando & were told Justin was in acute liver failure and likely would need a liver transplant. We were transported via Texas Children's Hospital Kangaroo Crew back to Houston. As we absorbed the devastating news of needing a transplant, further laboratory testing was being done. We were listed top of the transplant list on Monday, March 16th to only be removed the same day when we were told Justin has ALL, a childhood form of leukemia. Justin received his life saving liver transplant on March 31, 2015. Now Justin is on a 3.5 year journey of chemotherapy that includes multiple hospital visits, labs, bone marrow biopsies, and chemotherapy. We appreciate all prayers and are thankful for the generous donations we have received, we have been blessed to have people willing to help us through this difficult journey Justin has for many years ahead of him. Cancer patients also are followed for 5 years after treatment and then they become cancer survivors, we can't wait for that day!
