David Garber's Medical Help
Donation protected
David Garber is a 40 year old male who in 2008 was in school, working and actively contributing to the Ron Paul campaign.
Since that time his mental health has severely decline to the point where he was forced out of school and is now unable to hold a job. David has sought psychiatric help multiple times, but has been turned away due to lack of funding. David’s libertarian views have prevented him from accepting Medicaid or government assistance and are the cause of him not having the funding to get the help he needs.
At this time he is unable to keep a job, and unable to contribute to society or even his local charity. His current mental state poses a non-violent danger to himself and others. He is often found on the street despondent where people call the ambulance or the police on him. When he recovers he is unable to explain how he got where he is.
At other times, David is a very bright and insightful individual who clearly has the ability to contribute substantially to society if he could only maintain his mental health.
Our goal is to get him the medication and mental health treatment he needs to once again become a contributing member of society. We believe that within a year and with the proper treatment we could get him back into school and pursuing a career.
Please help us raise the money he needs to get treatment and medications so that we can get David back on his feet, and in a position where he can sustain his own mental health.
We have set up a Special Needs Trust for all donations to ensure any money donated will be used solely for his mental health treatment.
