Hello! I’m doing a quick fundraising for the purpose of emergencies. I’m Q. and I’m a full time employee at an auto shop, but my husband is out of a job. While he’s still searching, we’re struggling to make ends meet, as my entire paycheck every two weeks is going directly to whatever most pressing bill currently is (gas, electric, utilities, etc). We have two cats, Jonesy and Spite, and you can bet any spare cash we have goes to making sure they have their own food.
EDIT 8.8.24: Our priorities have shifted. I can survive on a poverty diet for a while, but the major problem now is rent. We received a 3-day notice recently and we’re nearly $500 short on August’s rent (sadly this includes late fees). I’m getting desperate, as my biweekly checks are too far apart to cover this, as i doubt our landlords will agree to wait another week for me to get paid.

More about us: I’m an autistic queer person who suffers from severe clinical depression, and I have no real close blood relations (due to bigotry and prejudice). My husband Art has ADHD, and is currently enrolled in several online marketing courses (he’s looking for a new job with decent pay). Art is a digital artist who also takes commissions in his spare time. Our cats are both rescues found in our neighborhood. I dabble in hands on crafts in my spare time, knitting and beading bracelets, and I’m a lover of horror media. We both love thrift shopping, picnics, and having coffee together in the mornings. Art’s a hopeless romantic who often laments that he can’t afford to spoil me (which I don’t need, but it’s sweet of him nonetheless!), and I love baking scratch desserts for him when I have a day off!
