We are asking 'friends of Puerto Vallarta'   --- visitors, full-time and part-time --- to read our request, share with friends and make a one-time gift --- large or small.  150 digital radios are needed to make the recent 911 roll-out work properly and reduce critical response times for fire, lifeguard, police and paramedics by 50%.  Your contribution will save lives.

I want to thank everyone for their support and give a Phase I update. As of today, the following items have been purchased as a result of donations through GoFundMe as well as business and association donations.

- Three REPEATERS purchased and installed in Las Juntas, Carmelitas, and Shangrila;
- hree 'executive' radios for Chief of Police, Transito and Civil Protection (Firefighters, lifeguards and paramedics);
- Five 'mini stations' for emergency service offices;
- Fifty-three (53) radios for first-responders;

Monies through GoFundMe have been withdrawn in my name and transferred to Juvenal Perez with Unicom in Guadalajara, Motorola distributor. Companies that have required a 'factura' have been coordinated through Dee Rindt in conjunction with Unicom's accounting department. Copies of all of these transactions, of course, are available.

We are just $1,500 shy of our GoFundMe campaign. That will bring us close to our 60 radio goal. We will have exciting news in a couple weeks regarding our Phase II campaign which should provide the remaining 50 radios needed for all the police, transit police, paramedics, firefighters, and other first-responders.

Thank you again for your commitment and passion. Please pass on this email to your friends and social network and lets meet our $13,000 goal by the end of the week.
