Please help us and be a part of our movement for bringing know-how, work & clean, safe drinking water to people living in the remotest corners around the world. Thank you very much!

Together we can prevent poverty & reduce the global water shortage with the World's First "Do-It-Yourself Solar Pump System" for everyone around the world!

We aim to provide safe, clean drinking water to people living in remote areas, a business concept to companies or entrepreneurs wanting to start their own business.

Today, almost 800 million people still have no access to safe, clean drinking water. The UN estimates that 6 to 8 million people die each year from the consequences of water-related diseases.

That is about 10.000 people dying every day - most of them are children under the age of 5.

To fight this global water crisis, Dietmar Stuck, an Austrian well builder with more than 10 years of experience in well construction, founded NSP-New Solar Pump e.U. in 2010 and now called PM Pumpmakers GmbH.

The Pumpmakers idea was born in Africa where Dietmar came across water places with and without traditional water pumps that often caused more problems than they solved.

His goal was clear: thousands of people all over the world should have easy access to safe, clean drinking water and the Know-How to help themselves and to build their own future.

Back in Austria, he put together a team of fellow engineers and constructors to design and develop a truly self-sustainable water pump system.

In 2012, Pumpmakers presented the NSP Solar Pump as the very first maintenance-free and corrosion-resistant water pump system that can be manufactured locally, and that runs entirely on solar power, needing no back-up electricity and incurring no additional costs.

What's more, the NSP Solar Pump system is inexpensive and can easily be set up to replace pre-installed water pumps, such as hand water pumps, generator-powered pumps or windmill water pumps that are typically found in rural and remote areas.

The NSP Solar Pump
- incurs no running costs and uses renewable solar energy to easily pump water out of water wells;
- efficiently pumps up to a depth of 100m / 300ft, even on cloudy days;
- has an optional hand pump which allows water to be pumped at night;
- requires NO maintenance at all (high-quality maintenance-free materials make this possible);
- is salt water resistant to avoid corrosion;
- is affordable and can be manufactured all over the world to foster local economic development;
- can easily be assembled locally, using local skills and parts.

Clean drinking water for Ndzofuine:
Pumpmakers solar pumps have been supplying the remote village Ndzofuine near Chidenguele in Mozambique with clean drinking water since 2012. With a capacity of up to 5.000 litres of water being pumped out from a depth of 80m each day, the system has opened the door to a brighter future for some 800 local people.

Our goal is to provide those in need with quick and easy access to safe, clean drinking water and support those who want to start a business.
