The Paranormal Project is a reality TV series that follows investigators Randall Cropp and Christopher Cowley as they seek to look beyond the veil of death and tirelessly pursue the truth that has eluded humanity since inception. Using modern scientific equipment we will investigate a variety of the most haunted locations throughout the country and eventually overseas.
The Paranormal Project isn't just another 'ghost hunting show' with bumps in the night and jump scares. It is an endeavor that seeks to bridge the gap between skeptic and true believer. We want to change the format of these hourly paranormal shows and shift the focus back to where it should be: knowledge. We've got a host of incredible equipment ready to unleash on the world. We have ways to tangibly bring evidence to your living room. We promise that if you invest in our show and tune in when we go live you will see things, hear things, and experience things that are simply unexplainable. We can promise this because we have done it.
Throughout 2016 we investigated several of the most famously haunted locations in Illinois in order to get our feet wet and learn the ropes. We captured incredible evidence of a hostile spirit at the Ashmore Estates. We captured our first EVP ever within the small town of Oregon, IL at Conover Square -- a reformed piano factory dating back to the '20s. We heard a spirit threaten our very lives within the old walls of the Tinker Swiss Cottage in Rockford, IL.

My name is Randall Cropp. I'm the Co-Founder of Squared Media, a small production company located outside of Chicago, IL. Christopher Cowley, my fellow Co-Founder, and I have been making films for years. We recently had our first feature film picked up for distribution, The 5th Kind. We emptied our paltry bank accounts to make our first film a reality. But we did it. It's receiving great reviews and is in stores all across the country. We can only imagine the heights we can reach with your help.
Despite our forays into narrative fiction we have always clung fast to our fascination with the paranormal. To look beyond life itself and find tangible answers was a concept that we held onto deep within our hearts. At our core we are excitable and passionate filmmakers. We've known each other for 15 years and through thick and thin we've always managed to accomplish our goals.
We learned the ropes. We acquired our gear. Now we look to you to help make our pilot episode a reality. With this $1000 target we will be able to:
1) Fund two more investigations.
2) Improve our camera gear.
3) Edit our pilot.
4) Pitch to investors.
Our ultimate goal is get picked up by a network and turn to investigating as a full time endeavor. YOU can help make that a reality.
