Project Maat is a movement of people and organizations working together to fight extreme poverty. We invite you to join this fight.
Every day, there are close to 100,000 Kosovar children and adults who do not get the meals they need to be well-nourished and lead healthy, active lives.
We provide nourishing food and other necessary items – medicine, warm clothing, hygiene products – to Kosovar families in need. Meanwhile, we are seeking ways to help the people we serve build a path to a food-secure future.
Founded in 2013, the project has provided food and other basic necessities for +240 poverty-stricken families, becoming one of the most successful initiatives in the country working for the alleviation of extreme poverty.
This year's Project Maat has already launched in schools and universities across Kosovo. In hopes of extending the project's impact, we are also collecting monetary donations from supporters around the world.
These donations will be used to buy food and other critical items for Kosovar families living in poverty. The distribution of the donations will occur on December 28th, 2017.
Too many families will be forced to survive through the winter with little food and no heat. Please help fight this injustice!
