Events & Parties Fighting Suicide!
#ProjectHighLife Suicide Prevention Campaign
Mission Statement:
Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Similarly, Happiness never decreases by being shared. -Buddha
With the world becoming so dark! It’s about time we brought a little bit of light back into it!
Our goal is to bring to light the multitude of joys that life has to offer.
We aim to do this through special events, parties, media, and social outings where we emphasize & promote ways to get high on life with out drugs or alcohol. While creating a community where anyone can feel safe to connect and open up to others who can relate or have been through similar experiences. In hopes of guiding those struggling with depression, anxiety, lonelyness and or any other form of mental illness, to the resources and support they may need, in order to develop a healthier outlook for their own life.
We aim to teach the world
How to love life again!
This is Project High Life.
All funds raised will be put towards hosting #ProjectHighLife events, parties & outings where we emphasize & promote ways to get high on life with out drugs or alcohol.
While creating a safe social experience where lifelong friendships and memories are made!
Details:
-Our mission is to host parties and special events that focus heavily on living in the moment by getting high on nothing but life. We also actively raise awareness and spread the alarm to the ongoing fight against Suicide, Mental Illness, & Substance abuse. But, most importantly, our goal is to show the world how to get high on nothing but life, good people, and a little music. Hoping to bring a little light and a new perspective, to those suffering from any form of mental illness.
We are now giving everyone who donates $50 or more, their very own LED Sound Active Party Globe Lights!
These lights are part of the ProjectHighLife Suicide Prevention Campaign fundraiser!
Background:
Most of the world has never known this about me, but I Steve Tracy was diagnosed with clinical depression over 10 years ago when I was 13. Since then, Ive been on and off multiple antidepressants and medications, all in hopes of fighting a darkness that’s plagued the deepest parts of my subconscious for years.
Outwardly, I’ve always attempted to be the most positive, outgoing, genuinely happy human being you’d ever meet. But I’ve done this, because I’ve known the overwhelming pain that depression, anxiety, and loneliness can bring to a person. So I’ve always hoped my outwardly bubbly persona could maybe help other people to never have to go through or feel the same things I’ve had to feel.
Ive always been too embarrassed and scared to let anyone know the hopeless detrimental thoughts that have somehow haunted me for so long.
Somehow about 8 months ago I let my depression and anxiety get the best of me. The mental prison that I had lived in for so long, convinced the rest of me to rid my mind once and for all of this never ending hopelessness and pain.
So I planned to commit suicide.
Somehow before I carried out the most permanent decision I would ever make. My mind cleared just enough to bring me fully to my senses. Saving me from a decision I could never come back from.
Sadly, a few months later. One of my closest best friends, and one of the first girls I ever loved, Kate Stratford, wasn’t as lucky as me. Her ongoing battle with mental illness got the best of her, and in late November of 2017 she committed suicide.
This broke me as a human being, causing feelings I had never before felt or even thought were possible to feel. But this emotional trauma also helped me to realize my purpose on this earth.
That purpose was to create #projecthighlife.

ATTENTION:
I know this is alot to read! I get carried away sometimes. So please know that through out the next few weeks we will be working to simplify and condense everything written here. We also will be posting a video summarizing the entire project and backstory, by the end of this week. So please check back if this is too overwhelming!
Suicide has become a serious epidemic around the world. It is estimated that every 40 seconds, some one on Earth commits suicide. (It is expected to increase to every 20 seconds by 2020)
For a better perspective.
My home state of Utah where I graduated High School, is ranked #5 for highest suicide rates in the nation.
(This is the state where one of my best friends; who ive known for over 8 years, committed suicide at the young age of 23. | I miss you Wild Child | (6/16/94 - 11/15/17)

And my new current home, Arizona is ranked #12.

Please understand that suicide is 100% Preventable.
But mental illness is also almost impossible to identify from an external viewpoint. The casual face to face interactions a person may encounter on a daily basis are not quite enough to establish an emotional bond with another human being. In other words, the social interaction young people go through day to day is not enough to create lasting wholesome friendships, like we had in the past before social media.
With the constant rise in popularity of social media usage among youth. They are constantly bombarded by negative news outlets pumping loads of information they otherwise would never actually see if they did not have access to the technology we have now a days. Through cell phones and social media, the world is more connected than it has ever been in history, yet the human race has also never been more lonely.
This is because of a lack in social interaction. People dont know how communicate in person anymore. And that is destroying each and every persons self esteem.
I believe that I have a solution that is not only different than what is currently taught to local comunities, but may possibly be more effective. The idea is to redirect the way we present suicide awareness and prevention to local communities.

How we will make a difference:
I am the owner and founder of the entertainment company RSR Events.
Here at RSR Events, we do things a bit differently than most. This brings a novelty to our events, which allows us to stand out from the rest.
The novelty in which we focus on, is Getting High on Life. This is our single driving factor for everything we do.
We specialize in creating events that release the inner kid hiding in all of us. We provide a safe, judgement free, unforgettable environment for anyone to let loose and forget about the troubles of the outside world...all with out any type of mind altering substances like alcohol or drugs.
Events, Dance Parties, and Social Gatherings that focus on one thing and one thing only...getting high on life.
We do not allow drugs or alcohol into any event. This is because we firmly believe that our events can provide the same level of enjoyment and endorphin, rush in a safe way with out altering your state of mind with alcohol, and drugs.
We aim to help people struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts by giving them a clean social environment where they can feel safe to be themselves, while interacting with others.
We need help to raise awareness, while fighting the ongoing increase in mental illness in America.
The best way we can do that, is by consistently striving to bring joy to the world, making it a better and happier place.
I believe that my team of avid life enthusiasts here at RSR Events, under my direction can bring Project High Life to life, with your help. "Project High Life" can and will save many lives if we do it correctly.

Who am I?
I am a 24 year old Musician, DJ, Entreprenuer, Innovator, Engineer and lets be real here.... Im just a person just like you.
Honestly I just like making people happy.
Sadly, I attempted to commit suicide this last year.
But November of 2017 things changed...
One of my closest best friends, that I have known for almost 8 years, who also happened to be the first girl I ever fell in love with, who I also began losing contact with... Committed Suicide.
Up until this point, I thought I had experienced the worst that life had to offer.
I was wrong.
It took this unimaginable loss of a magnificent human being, for me to realize that there is no greater loss, than that of a life taken, by its own hands.
Experiencing this loss first hand, changed my perspective of which I viewed the world. Making me see that every single human Life is more fragile than we realize.
We never know whats going on in somebody elses head. We dont have any idea what they may be going through. All we should see is another human being trying to make their way through life, who should be cherished no matter what circumstances they are in.
Through this realization, my own life purpose was reborn.
I now understood why I went through all that I went through.
It was so I could teach and prevent others from going through the same mistakes and hardships that I had to face. I mean. Isnt that why we are all here. To help each other get through this thing we call life?
I am now 24, and its been a long and brutal road mentally and emotionally for me, but 2018 is a new year filled with hope.

Who will benefit?
Everyone. Our goal is to create events, music, and media that can bring joy to people from all walks of life. Our events bring people together, creating a community, while also bringing out the inner kid in all of us.
We provide a safe environment where anyone can open up and let loose their inner self, without the need for alcohol or drugs.
We bring bounce houses, dunk tanks, Slip n Slides, Super Mario Kart on Projectors, Minute to win it games, you name it! we will bring it!
Events like these:

We constantly strive to innovate to make sure every event is more exciting and different than the last. We make sure that everyone who attends our events, leaves feeling that they are apart of the RSR Family. Come as a stranger, but leave as a friend.

Your Impact!
Any contribution you make will go straight into the project. To get the ball rolling, we are aiming for $3000 which is our goal here on GoFundMe.
