Project GLOW Inc. is a non-profit entity set up to educate and employ teens and adults with Intellectual Disabilities. GLOW - Giving Light Out to the World - collects donated used candles and re-purposes them to sell at local craft fairs. The glass containers that remain after we remove all usable materials, are recycled.
While the wax we use is predominantly from donation, wicks, scents, dyes and new containers must be purchased. We currently work out of my home but our business is outgrowing the available space. We would like to expand to rental space to allow more Intellectually Disabled individuals to participate and for our products to be available for purchase from our "shop".
If you've ever spent time with an individual with Intellectual Disabilities, than you are familiar with that special "light" and positive outlook they posses and share with those around them. Project GLOW Inc. would love the opportunity, through your kind donation, to provide meaningful life and work skills for as many individuals as possible.
