What is it?
From Compton to Canada, DeMar DeRozan is more than just a basketball player. He's also a hero and a role model. DeMar has exemplified the values of hard-work, dedication and loyalty. Inspiring fans all over the world.
Now DeMar is inspiring people in a new way and that is by speaking about Mental Health
DeMar's thoughts here
DeRozan is talking about the importance of mental health at a time where mental illnesses are becoming more and more common. DeMar speaks of his own mental health problems and how he deals with them. Showing that anyone can both face and overcome this struggle.
When we learned about DeMars struggle with mental health and other difficult circumstances in his life, we fans decided it would be nice to show our appreciation for all that DeMar has done for not just Toronto but fans all over the world.
How do we do it?
We plan on creating a book filled with messages from fans for DeMar to see. From personal letters to pictures we are going to create a strong message of support for our guy, DeMar DeRozan.
The budget for this project is projected to be around $80. We will finance this project through the GoFundMe all other Proceeds will be donated to Lupus Canada in honour of DeRozan.

Where do I submit my message/artwork?
Please submit any artwork, short messages, long letters, words of support, etc at the following email

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR IMAGES
TYPE: All submissions must be in a PNG image file. This means you are responsible for the formatting/font. FONT: Must be reasonably legible and no bright colours. IF SCANNED: Make sure the background is pure white. Your scanner/scanner app usually does this automatically. If not, just increase the contrast.
RESOLUTION: Try to make it between 200dpi and 300dpi. 300dpi preferable. In terms of size, this is usually above 1500x1000px for medium sized images. Save your image to PNG and then zoom it 200% to see if it's blurry. SIZE: Must be less than 25MB. COLOR: Must be RGB or Grayscale.

***IMPORTANT: Keep an original copy of your message/drawing/handwritten paper until we confirm that we've ordered the book. We may need you to make changes to it at any time.
