Princess Janae Place is a home away from home. In honor of the Icon Legendary Princess Janae Banks. A housing facility for people of Trans experience. Providing shelter, mental health, medical, legal, job placement, and general support services. As they transition from homeless to independent living.
By helping people of Trans experience maximize their full potential providing residential, educational, clinical and recreational services that create and nurture connections to the community and the natural world.
From the start, Princess Janae Place philosophy has been based on the belief that if Transgender people are given a chance to explore and discover their inherent strengths in a safe and structured nature-based environment, their self-esteem, compassion, coping, and social skills will improve. The concept of an enriched treatment setting that brings people of Trans experience together to become the change the world needs today.
